Saiji has produced a cell phone holder that has soft touch silicone backing that will protect your phone from scratches and sliding. This phone holder is a plastic and silicone mix that, due to its hooked feet, isn't really great for traveling with, but is good for having as a stand in places where you tend to go often such as the office. It has hooked feet coated in silicone that project out of the front of the holder to keep your cell phone snugly resting in place. The face of the holder that your phone rests against is 2.75 inches wide by 4 inches long. In the center of the holder where your phone rests is a button that releases the slider mechanism that allows you to slide the height of your phone up a couple of inches if you so desire. This actually takes care of two issues at once because in between the two feet there is space for things to plugin to the bottom of your phone.

So in the case of wanting to charge your phone while it's resting in the vertical orientation, you will have zero issues doing so. The feet though aren't designed to provide enough space for a thicker case like an Otterbox on a thicker phone like a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, so you will need to remove the case if you want to use this kickstand or have a thinner case on it. The back of Saiji is a 2.38 inch wide by 3.75 inch long platform that rotates out to attain your desired viewing angle, providing all the stability you need to interact with your phone while it's on the stand. One thing we didn't like was that the bottom of this platform is just hard plastic unlike the main base which has silicone underneath to keep the phone from sliding. For maximum stability they should have lined both with the silicone to increase grip and prevent any unwanted scratching of surfaces. Otherwise the Saiji is a great product that is well worth the money if you are looking for a phone holder.

Because of the fact that the material is made out of carbon fiber, as long as you use the holder as intended it should withstand all normal wear and tear of assembly and disassembly and last you for quite some time. Weighing in at 0.4 ounces this credit card sized kickstand will add hardly any weight to your wallet and will be there with you when you need, just like your money.
