MicroSD cards and SD cards are a must have for any photographer/videographer. Running out of space in the middle of a photo/video shoot, or when you're just out and about and seen something interesting to capture is a capturers nightmare! Enter a credit card sized microSD/SD card holder that fits in your wallet, coming to your rescue to save the day and let you keep capturing away!

Kiorafoto microSD and SD card holder is a nice solid piece of formed plastic that encloses all but the back end of your cards. You don't have to worry about this card holder flexing and causing damage to the cards held within. It holds your cards snugly in its recessed slots, so snugly in fact that you need to be careful when pulling the cards you've stowed away, out. This is because if you are not careful you will end up generating so much force that you might drop them when you do get them to release from the holder. This holder comes equipped with two slots for SD cards and 4 slots for microSD cards. It's got you covered on both ends of the spectrum if you just need that double backup of SD cards or in the case of needing one slot for an SD card and another for the microSD card adapter. The card holder, while being credit card sized in length and width, is thick in height at about an 1/8th of an inch which is the equivalent of about three raised letter credit cards, it will be eating up some space within your wallet slot, but for the serious photographer, it's worth it. There is one other caveat that we would like to mention about this holder. It does have sharp edges to it when the cards are not present, so you may want to file those edges down a bit. Kiorafoto's website does offer other versions as well as cases.

SDcardholder.com produces the second offering that we found of credit card sized microSD and SD card holders. This card holder is a much thinner, lighter, less substantial holder that has even worse issues with the sharpness of all the exposed edges but if you are someone who uses a lot of microSD cards, then this is the holder for you. It comes equipped with 10 microSD card slots and one SD card slot. So if you use several devices to capture at the same time, this puppy has got you covered! While it is less protective (shaking the holder actually rattles the cards around but they won't fall out), it is easier to insert and remove the cards you need without fear of dropping them. There is a small plastic tab for each individual slot that you depress to allow the cards to be removed. Kiorafoto card holders on the other hand simply hold the cards in place via pressure inside the card holder itself. Due to the open nature of this card holder, there are a lot of potential snag points. It is slightly thinner than the Kiorafoto at less than 1/8th of an inch while maintaining the overall same profile. Whichever card holder you decide on, both of these card holders are better than carrying the typical bulky case in your pocket.
